Hearn responds to White’s outrage and swearing over Joshua rematch

Former challenger Dillian Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) will have the opportunity to fight in a rematch with former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) in July at a stadium in the UK if AJ defeats the American on April 1 Jermain Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs). This was promised by promoter Eddie Hearn, who was asked to comment on White’s recent psychos.

According to Dillian, he is rightly outraged that Joshua chose Franklin, whom he, White, defeated on points a few weeks ago. On the other hand, this victory was so controversial that many consider Jermain the winner.

“Him [Уайта] had a very close fight with Franklin. He had a fight that many thought could have ended either way,” Hearn said.
BoxingSocial. “We are ready to fight Dillian in the summer. AJ has already chosen his next opponent for his next fight and this will be announced on Monday.”

Froch is unhappy with Joshua. There are immediately two reasons for this.

When Eddie was asked if Joshua would fight three fights in 2023, he replied: “Not necessarily, but that’s the plan. One in April, one in July, possibly early August, and one in December.”

“In the summer we want to fight at the stadium, so White will be the rivals,” the functionary assured.

White had previously offered Chisora a third fight – but not in boxing.
