Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn says he couldn’t deliver what Billy Joe Saunders (30-1, 14 KOs) wanted from him, and so the former two-division world champion may be looking for other career opportunities.
“We looked and discussed the numbers. I don’t think we can do what he wants us to do for him,” Eddie said.
Boxing Social. “Therefore, we will be glad if he takes advantage of other opportunities. I would like BDS to come back with us or with someone else. Billy needs to know the date so he can start working on himself. He’s a fantastic talent.”
It is unclear how much money 32-year-old Billy Joe expected to receive for the next fight.
