Former IBF / WBO / WBA world heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) the next fight, as planned, will be held this year: December 17 – the last before Christmas weekend. This was announced in an interview with iFL TV by his promoter Eddie Hearn.
According to the functionary, this is not yet the final plan, but quite a working one, which is likely to remain in force.
The duel will take place at the Wembley Arena in London (England) – this is the idea.
Who will be the opponent is unknown.
Recall that yesterday and today it finally became clear that there would be no confrontation between Joshua and fellow countryman Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), which was planned for December 3. The parties blame each other for disrupting the megafight.
Joshua had his last fight at the end of the summer, losing a rematch to Oleksandr Usyk. That is, a new battle will take place, if everything works out, almost 100 days after the previous one.
