Gilberto Ramirez does not consider the fight with Bivol the biggest challenge of his career

Former world super middleweight champion Mexican Gilberto Ramirez (44-0, 30 KOs) considers the upcoming fight against Russian Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) for the WBA Super light heavyweight title (up to 79.4 kg) the most important in his career, but at the same time claims that he already had tests and more serious ones.

“I don’t think this[Bivol fight]is the biggest challenge of my career. I have been boxing with top fighters for a long time. Still, it’s a good challenge,” said the Mexican. “That’s just what I want. And I want a belt. And for me, and for the whole of boxing, it’s just great that this top fight, which the public is looking forward to, will take place. ”

“Bivol is a really good challenge. And I like it because I love challenges. I look forward to the moment when I win the title and become a two-time world champion. I will succeed, there is no doubt, – Gilberto is sure. “Beating Bivol means everything to me, because this way I will prove to myself that I am capable of achieving what I dreamed of. I’ve been looking for that kind of challenge all my life.”

Recall that the Bivol-Ramirez fight is scheduled for November 5 in the United Arab Emirates.

Previously, Gilberto Ramirez shared the “plan” for the fight with Bivol.
