Gilberto Ramirez: “Beterbiev and Smith are average, but I don’t blame Bivol”

Former world super middleweight champion, now light heavyweight from Mexico, Gilberto Ramirez (43-0, 29 KOs) is looking forward to a competitive fight with Dominik Bösel from Germany, which is scheduled for May 14 in the USA.

At the same time, Gilberto recalled that his desires extend much further than the European middle peasant.

“Bösel is the best European light heavyweight (obviously not one of the reigning champions, approx. WMMAA), who has everything to make the upcoming fight competitive,” Ramirez believes. – Of course, Bivol, Beterbiev and Smith are still at the top of my list, but they were all unavailable. Even if they are in the top, I will not wait for them, I need to deal with my legacy.

“I have already said that Beterbiev and Smith are, at best, middle peasants who know that they should not be told my name. Bivol almost agreed (to fight Ramirez), but he got the opportunity to face Canelo, so I don’t blame him,” Gilberto added.

Earlier, the Mexican said that he was targeting the winner of the Canelo-Bivol fight.
