American lightweight knockout Gervonta “Tank” Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) says that he is in the ring and out of the ring – different personalities, and a “threatening” look before a fight or in a fight does not mean at all that he is the same in ordinary life outside of boxing. The champion of three divisions said this in
Last Stand Podcast in response to a related question by Brian Kuster.
“I am funny. It’s nice with me. I AM [обычный] human. Not some arrogant type, pontorez and so on, said Gervonta. – Many people see me at the weigh-in or in the ring, and judge me by what they see. I’m actually more of a person than a boxer.”
“I mean, I’m threatening or ‘arrogant’ not 24/7 at all. Usually I’m a modest guy, it’s funny with me, ”he repeated.
Davis says he’s been in a lot of contact lately with boxing powerhouse Al Haymon (PBC); usually about boxing, but also about business and everyday things.
In a few hours, Gervonta will come out in lightweight (up to 61.2 kg) against the unbeaten Dominican Hector Luis Garcia (16-0, 10 KOs). Our preview for this fight – Caliber 120 mmas well as forecast and rates.
