George St. Pierre has spoken out about competing in the UFC 300 tournament

Former UFC champion in two weight classes, George St-Pierre, commented on the information that he may participate in the UFC 300 anniversary tournament, which will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas.

“It’s a rumor – no one has offered me a fight,” Bloody Elbow quoted the Canadian as saying. “I’ve made it clear that I have no desire to return to mixed martial arts.”

“Sometimes I miss the adrenaline, the victory. When you win a fight, nothing can compare to that, and unfortunately I will never experience that feeling again. I’ll never win a championship fight again, and I miss that feeling. Nevertheless, it’s a reality that suits me. I have to accept it.”

George St-Pierre, 42, has not competed since taking the UFC middleweight championship belt from Michael Bisping in November 2017, resuming his career after a four-year hiatus.
