Fury will fight the winner of the Usyk-Joshua rematch – insider from Arum

A fight against the winner of the upcoming rematch Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua is the only one that makes sense for the British Tyson Fury, because the title of the undisputed division champion will be at stake. And he will accept this challenge, despite the fact that he recently once again announced his retirement.

Fury’s American co-promoter, the head of Top Rank, Bob Arum, shared his thoughts and information on this matter.

“There is no doubt that this is the only fight that makes sense for Tyson Fury,” Arum said. “I discussed this with his British promoter Frank Warren and once the fight[Usyk-Joshua 2]is over we are going to have a full unification for all titles between the winner and Tyson Fury.”

“If Usyk wins (on Saturday), which I personally expect, it will be quite easy for us to do this, because we are very close to Usyk’s people, because they also represent Vasily Lomachenko, who plays for our company,” Bob said. – If Joshua wins, his promoter is Eddie Hearn, with whom we have repeatedly agreed on various fights. So I’m sure we can work it out anyway.”

“Based on my conversations with Fury, he wants to fight for the absolute championship,” the functionary assured. “Only God knows what will happen after this, but I am at least sure that Tyson will take this big fight.”

Joshua recently said he could bring Fury back from retirement.
