Fury is in talks for a comeback. But not against the winner of the Usyk-Joshua fight

WBC heavyweight champion Briton Tyson Fury (32-0-1 23 KOs) in April in London (England) at the legendary Wembley knocked out mandatory challenger compatriot Dillian Whyte, after which he announced his retirement.

Fury has not yet given up the title, as he does not rule out that sooner or later he will change his mind. The fighter honestly admitted that he was tired of boxing and lost his previous motivation. But he is not opposed to continuing to earn solid money – he would like to entertain fans with exhibition fights. Potential opponents included Francis Ngannou, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Hafthor “Thor” Bjornsson.

According to insidersFury is now in talks to return to the ring. But do not rush to rejoice, as we are talking about wrestling ring – negotiating with WWE on performing at the promotion’s September show to be held at the 75,000-seat arena Principality Stadium in Cardiff (UK). The thing is that this is the first PPV evening from WWE in Britain.

The promotion does not hide the fact that they really want to see Fury as part of the show – the wrestling evening will take place on September 3rd. For a heavyweight, this would be the second appearance in the ranks of the company – in October 2019, Tyson made his debut with a bright victory. Presumably, Fury will first take part in one of the summer shows from WWE. Unfortunately, details are missing.

Negotiations continue, they are not easy. What if this is the reason Fury came to the pub the other day, took off his shirt and ordered a beer? Meanwhile, slightly pushy promoter Eddie Hearn said that Tyson would not return if Usyk beat Joshua in a rematch.
