WBC heavyweight champion Briton Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) promised to meet WBA Super, IBF and WBO champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) immediately after the intermediate fight with compatriot Derek Chisora - 3 will fight December in London (England).
Fury wanted to measure his strength with the Ukrainian before the end of the year, but he cited an injury. The Briton hopes that this time there will be no obstacles: “If the fight with Usyk is really possible … If they really want to fight, then we will make this fight next. If, of course, I win the upcoming duel. And I never look behind my opponents, because I remember that chickens are counted in the fall.
According to Fury, the fight with Usyk will almost certainly take place in Saudi Arabia.
“And after I pass it, I will return again to fight in Britain,” said the Briton, instantly forgetting that he “does not look behind his opponents.”
Fury claims that he really decided to end his career after the April victory over compatriot Dillian Whyte, but everything did not go according to plan: “I was writing my third book, recording a song for the upcoming World Cup.
