The third fight between the reigning WBC heavyweight champion Briton Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and his compatriot Derek Chisora (33-12) will still take place.
Today it was officially announced that the fight will take place on December 3 in London (England) at the Tottenham Hotspur football stadium. Also, as part of the undercard, a duel between the world champion in the secondary version of the WBA World in heavyweight British Daniel Dubois (18-1, 17 KOs) and South African Kevin Lerena (28-1, 14 KOs) was announced.
Recall that Fury and Chisora fought in 2011 and 2014. The first fight ended with Tyson’s victory on points by unanimous decision of the judges, and in the rematch he won ahead of schedule after Derek did not reach the 11th round.
In both cases, it was not a pleasant action to watch.
This year, Fury has one title defense – in April he stopped Dillian Whyte in 6 rounds.
Chisora also had one fight, surpassing Kubrat Pulev on points in July by a split decision.
It is noteworthy that not so long ago Derek announced his retirement, and last week he claimed that there was no talk of any trilogy with Fury.
