Franklin is a candidate to fight Joshua

Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn, promoter of former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), suggested that his client could fight in the next fight in early 2023 with American Jermaine Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs) . The latter fought veteran favorite Dillian Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) the day before yesterday, but lost by majority decision.

Many boxing fans believe that the American did enough to win, but he was allegedly “rolled” by the judges.

“He [Джошуа] sees Dillian and Franklin as potential next opponents,” Eddie said in a comment.
Behind The Gloves. — Yes, and Jermain could also be [соперником] after this performance. I think he fought White really well, and after five or six rounds, AJ probably thought, “Hmm. Maybe next I’ll fight Franklin.” Overall, he’s ready to fight any of these guys.”

Reaction haye for White’s victory over Franklin

There is another option, Hearn added: Swede Otto Wallin (24-1, 14 KOs).

“Dmitry [Салита] trying to get me to have Joshua fight him. I think it’s also a good fight,” the promoter said. – There are many options. First of all, you need to decide on the date and place, and then we will decide everything and do our job. It’s going to be a real fight and we’re looking forward to the announcement.”

Yesterday, by the way, Joshua admitted that he told White after he passed Franklin. Dillian commented on the victory.
