Francis Ngannou’s PFL rival to receive huge purse

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who has signed a deal with the PFL, has shied away from directly asking how much he will be paid per fight in the organization, instead revealing his opponents’ base fee as written into his contract.

“My opponents are guaranteed a base fee of $2 million,” the Predator said in a recent edition of The MMA Hour. “Maybe it will be more, it depends on the additional terms of their personal contracts, but two million is the minimum amount that we guarantee. As for my base fee, it will be a little more, let’s put it this way.”

Earlier, representatives of the league officially announced the signing of the Cameroonian heavyweight, whose debut in the organization is scheduled for next year. According to the contract, Francis Ngannou will compete in the “superfights” division, where fighters receive at least 50% of the sale of paid broadcasts. In addition, the Cameroonian became the president of the African division of the league, and also received a position on the PFL advisory board, where he will represent the interests of the fighters.

Before making his PFL debut, Francis Ngannou plans to fight in professional boxing, which should take place before the end of this year.
