“It doesn’t matter what he says,” the Cameroonian said in an interview with TMZ. “The only thing that matters is what happens in Saudi Arabia, and in Saudi Arabia he’s going to collapse on the canvas. He knows how to get up, and if he can do that in our fight, he’ll prove that he’s really good.”
“I’ve been studying him for the last three years and I’ve been to a few of his fights. I’m ready for the fight and I’m looking forward to it. We’ve got nine more weeks and we’ll come out of this hunt fast and strong.”
Ngannou also confirmed that he plans to return to mixed martial arts under the PFL league banner after making his boxing debut.
“I will have a fight in the PFL in February or March.”
Recall that the fight under the rules of professional boxing between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 28 in the Saudi capital Riyadh, however, this time the Briton will not put on the line the WBC heavyweight title that belongs to him.
