UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou claims he once knocked out rival and former sparring partner Cyril Gan in a sparring match.
“Francis Ngannou told journalist Oscar Willis at a media day that he once knocked out Cyril Gan in sparring. Knocked out hard, with a high kick. Said it wasn’t intentional and he never felt he needed to tell anyone about it,” ESPN journalist Brett Okamoto tweeted.
Ngannou and Gan will fight on January 22 at UFC 270 in Anaheim.
