Francis Ngannou made a statement about his future

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will announce where he will continue his professional career in two days.

The Cameroonian giant made the announcement on social media, posting the date and associated video leaving no doubt about the kind of announcement Predator plans to make.

“May 16, 2023,” Ngannou wrote.

Two weeks ago, the ONE Championship left the negotiation process with Francis Ngannou, which refused to fulfill a number of demands from the Cameroonian, such as giving him a seat on the company’s board of directors and giving him the right to determine the fee of his rivals.

At the same time, Ngannou, through journalist Ariel Helwani, said that he himself refused to negotiate, since he had already agreed on an agreement with another organization. According to reports, the PFL will become the new home of the former UFC champion. This information has already been confirmed by former UFC fighters Dan Hardy and Chael Sonnen, who work for the league as fight agents and commentators.

36-year-old Francis Ngannou officially vacated the UFC heavyweight title earlier this year, leaving the strongest league in the world as a free agent. As a result, the vacant UFC championship belt was contested in a fight between Jon Jones and Cyril Gun, in which the American fighter won by guillotine choke in the first round.
