Francis Ngannou leaving UFC for PFL?

Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has likely hinted that he could continue his professional career in the PFL.

The Cameroonian heavyweight, whose contract with the UFC expires at the end of this month, posted a series of New Year’s Eve family photos on social networks, in which his mother sits at the festive table in a PFL T-shirt.

Let’s start the best year ever! Happy 2023 to all of you!” the Predator wrote in the comments.

This publication, apparently not accidental, is at odds with the information that Francis Ngannou is close to signing a new contract with the UFC, the first fight of which should be his fight against Jon Jones, scheduled for March this year.

Francis Ngannou, 36, last fought last January, successfully unifying the interim and current UFC heavyweight titles in a five-round showdown with his former sparring partner, Cyril Gan. After that, the Cameroonian operated on his knee and went to a long rehabilitation.
