Francis Ngannou: ‘I don’t know why Dana White didn’t come out to put a belt on me’

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou commented on the absence of promotion president Dana White in the cage at the belt award ceremony.

“You need to ask him [Уайта], I know nothing. I have nothing to do with this. I think it was his decision (laughs). He didn’t come to the press conference? Okay, got it. I didn’t know,” Ngannou said at the post-match press conference.

White had previously criticized Ngannou for his negotiating behavior with the promotion. At UFC 270, the Cameroonian defeated Cyril Gan via unanimous decision to retain his heavyweight title.
