Francis Ngannou has revealed future plans

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who suffered a crushing defeat in a boxing match against Anthony Joshua, is looking to get his boxing career back on track before stepping back into the mixed martial arts cage.

“I know I could have shown more and the reason for my frustration is not the defeat per se,” MMAnews quoted the Cameroonian as saying. “I could have put on a good fight, and I’m upset about not being able to show my progress and what I’ve learned in the last four months since the Fury fight. But what is is what is, and I’ll take a lesson from it.”

“What’s next? Probably a third boxing match. I think boxing owes me something now and I have to go back and take back what boxing has taken from me. I think my ego won’t let me back down and leave it like this without doing everything I can to rehabilitate myself and prove to the world that I’m a man of action”

Ten days ago Francis Ngannou lost by knockout to Anthony Joshua in the second round and was knocked down twice before the referee stopped the fight.

Two weeks earlier, the PFL league, which signed “The Predator” to a contract last year, announced that the Cameroonian would return to mixed martial arts to fight PFL heavyweight champion Henan Ferreira, who knocked out current Bellator titleholder Ryan Bader in 21 seconds.
