Francis Ngannou brought the coach to tears

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, received a lot of money for his fight with Tyson Fury, generously sharing the fee with his teammates and head coach, Eric Nixick.

“It was the biggest amount I’ve ever been paid by a fighter,” MMA Junkie quoted the American specialist as saying. “It was more than I expected. Obviously Francis has always taken care of me, but this time he just blew me away.”

“When I saw my bill that morning, I literally cried. This is the real story. I had tears flowing because he changed my life – not only professionally, but financially as well”

“It gave me a lot of financial freedom. Allowed me to enjoy coaching and enjoy being a father and husband. Francis’ transition into boxing has many characteristics and one of them is the way he treats his team. He cares about all of us and no matter how much we thank him – it will clearly not be enough”

Francis Ngannou, who lost to the Briton by a controversial split decision after twelve rounds, reportedly earned over ten million dollars for his bout with the world boxing champion, while a typical trainer’s fee is between 5 and 20 percent of a fighter’s salary.

After his fight with Tyson Fury, the “World Boxing Council” decided to include the Cameroonian in the official WBC rankings, placing him at number ten in the heavyweight division.
