The legendary heavyweight of the last century, George Foreman (76-5, 68 KOs), is ahead of the curve: the 73-year-old American said that two women brought charges of rape against him in the 1970s “in an attempt to extort millions of dollars.” The tabloid writes about it
TMZ Sports citing sources familiar with the matter.
Foreman is expected to file a lawsuit this week in Los Angeles. The fathers of these women were apparently friends and worked with Foreman decades ago.
George stated that these allegations are completely untrue: “Over the past six months, two women have tried to extort millions of dollars from me and my family. They falsely claim that I raped them over 45 years ago. I categorically deny these accusations. My reputation means as much to me as all my athletic accomplishments, and I can’t be intimidated by baseless threats and lies.”

Sources told the tabloid that Foreman is convinced the lawsuit and allegations are “part of a coordinated extortion plot” in which the women have been asking him since January to pay them $12.5 million each.
Foreman is going with the help of lawyers “to fully and truthfully expose the scheme of my accusers and defend himself in court.”
“I don’t get into fights, but I don’t run away from them,” said the veteran, former two-time champion, who, after a career in boxing, created the George Foreman Grill restaurant chain and made a fortune of ~ $ 300 million.
