Fist league fighters will be fined and disqualified for trash talk

The Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation, Kirill Shchekutiev, said that fighters participating in fist leagues could be fined and disqualified for obscene language and unsportsmanlike behavior.

“We are categorically against obscene expressions and other points,” Shchekutiev said at a press conference at the Izvestia Information Center. – The Russian Boxing Federation will make decisions on disqualification or fines. We want to bring fisticuffs to a normal sport, so that you can enjoy the sport and not trash talk or anything like that. All promoters have been told about it. Our task is not to put things in order, but to bring discipline to the organization of tournaments.”

Today it became known that, starting from December 1, fisticuffs will be officially recognized as a sports discipline. Bare-knuckle fights will be held under the auspices of the Russian Boxing Federation.
