Fights Oliveira-Dariush and Burns-Muhammad are officially appointed

The lightweight contendership between Charles Oliveira and Benil Dariush, who was sidelined from UFC 288 due to an injury, is expected to be the second-highest event at UFC 289 on June 10 in Vancouver, Canada.

His place on the UFC 288 card will be taken by a potential welterweight challenger between Belal Muhammad and Gilbert Burns, which the fighters announced on social media a few days earlier.

Both fights were officially announced by representatives of the organization.

Recall that the UFC 288 tournament will be held on May 6 in Newark, and its main event will be a bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo, and the numbered Canadian event will be headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between Amanda Nunes and Julianne Peña, who will complete the fundamental trilogy.
