MMA fighter Fedor Emelianenko can hold his farewell fight in Moscow at the Bellator tournament on Red Square.
“Bellator wants to hold a big, grandiose tournament in Moscow in the summer, in which my participation is planned,” Emelianenko said in an interview with Okko MMA.
“Tournament on Red Square? I think it’s real. Now he [Скотт Кокер, президент Bellator. — Прим. «СЭ»] is negotiating to hold a tournament on one of the largest venues, or perhaps there will be a tournament on Red Square. At least that’s what I heard from Scott Cocker. Desires are, and desires are feasible. Negotiations are underway. Bellator is negotiating with our side. They are very cultured people who can negotiate.”
In his last fight, which took place on October 23 at the VTB Arena in Moscow, Emelianenko knocked out American Timothy Johnson. In total, the 45-year-old Emelianenko has 40 wins, 6 losses and 1 fight declared invalid.
