“I worked with Volkanovski in wrestling, standing and sparring,” Evloev told reporters in Moscow. “He is a good guy, a good athlete, the number one P4P, but everyone has their own limit, and his limit is Islam Makhachev. Anything can happen in a fight, but if you bet money, which I never do, I would bet on Islam Makhachev.”
Evloev, who is recovering from knee surgery, also spoke about when he plans to return to the octagon.
“I have started full functionality in my training, and already on Monday I fly to the training camp in the USA. We will prepare, and soon there will be news about the next confrontation.”
Recall that the lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski on February 11 will head the UFC 284 tournament in Perth, Australia.
