British middleweight Chris Eubank Jr. (32-2, 23 KOs) has no doubt that next Saturday in London (England) he will win a landslide victory over fellow welterweight Conor Benn (21-0, 14 KOs). The fighters will fight in the contractual weight limit – up to 71.2 kg.
Chris Eubank – Conor Benn: forecast and bets for the fight on October 8
Eubank
believesthat there is no intrigue in the fight at all: “This is a mismatch. It won’t be a fight at all. This is a public execution. It’s unbelievable that respected people in the boxing world think that this kid has a chance. Even more incredible is that some even bet on it. It’s actually just very, very unbelievable.”
It was assumed that it would be very difficult for Eubank to make a contractual weight limit – after all, he had previously competed in super middleweights at all. But Chris now and then trolls the opponent with new videos – with an appetite he absorbs either fried chicken, or hamburgers, or sweets. Favorite comment: “Diet? HZ, I just eat. Sometimes I share photos and videos with my followers. Oh, I love them – both fans and haters. I don’t think that this is some kind of mind game or trolling on my part. I’m just the way I am.”
Formerly show promoter Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing) admitted that he still worries about whether Eubank will be able to invest in the weight limit: “Otherwise, Chris will look stupid.” And the father of the favorite shouts / tears himself up: “Boycott this fight!”
