Eddie Hearn called the “perfect fight” for Canelo

Promoter Eddie HearnMatchroom Boxing) shared his plans for the absolute Mexican super middleweight champion Saul Canelo Alvarez (58-2-2, 39 KOs).

The fighter decided to make a second attempt to take away the WBA Super belt from Russian light heavyweight Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11 KOs), but he would do it only in September. And in May, Canelo plans to hold a moderate interim fight.

Hearn
picked up Alvarez best option: “John Ryder is the perfect fight for Canelo. First of all, for the reason that he is his mandatory challenger. And it’s a solid fight before the rematch, given that John has gained incredible form. You just need to decide where to fight. But for now, this is a priority option: Ryder, and in case of a victory over him, a rematch with Bivol. Yes, it’s already an agreed plan.”

According to Hearn, he would like to do this fight either in London (England), or even in Mexico: “Canelo would have earned a little more in the USA, but he himself wants to fight not only in America.”

Meanwhile, Bivol is confident in himself: “I will beat everyone!” And Ryder told how he was going to hit Canelo: No baseball bats.
