UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier is confident that he will win a stoppage victory over division champion Charles Oliveira.
“I’ll finish it,” Poirier told The MMA Hour. – I think that 25 minutes is too much for someone who fights with me. I can catch you with a heavy punch, I can put you in positions where you will be very unwell. But I’m getting ready for 25 minutes. I consider these 25 minutes to be the rest of my life and I am ready to do anything to take this title. Recently, Teddy Attlas sent me a short but inspiring message: “There is one last mountain from which the view will be all-encompassing.” It really energized me.”
Oliveira will face Poirier on December 11 at UFC 269 in Las Vegas.
