Doping controls will be introduced in fisticuffs

The Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation, Kirill Shchekutiev, announced that doping control would be introduced in fisticuffs.

“Doping control, as in professional boxing, will be carried out by RUSADA. I want to remind you that the Russian Boxing Federation monthly sends a plan of planned professional boxing competitions to RUSADA, where the organization itself determines certain athletes or certain competitions to which doping officers are sent to take samples. If we talk about title fights, where, as in professional boxing, it is a mandatory prerogative for athletes to pass a doping test, ”Shchekutiev said at a press conference at the Izvestia Information Center.

Today it became known that from December 1, fisticuffs will officially be held under the auspices of the Russian Boxing Federation.
