Dominic Reyes and Carlos Ulberg fight has been re-scheduled

The bantamweight bout between Dominick Reyes and Carlos Ulberg, which was removed from the UFC 297 event card due to an injury to the New Zealand fighter, will take place March 30 in Atlantic City.

The new date for the matchup was officially announced by representatives of the organization.

After a controversial title defeat to Jon Jones, 34-year-old Dominick Reyes suffered three more consecutive losses, losing by knockouts to Jan Blachowicz, Jiri Prochazka and Ryan Spann.

Carlos Ulberg, 33, on the other hand, is riding a five-fight win streak in the UFC, finishing Da Un Jang with a rear-naked choke in his last fight.

Dominick Reyes is currently ranked as the UFC’s fourteenth-ranked welterweight, while Carlos Ulberg is not yet a top-15 fighter in the division.
