Diego Sanchez and Greg Hardy lost in fisticuffs ahead of schedule

Former UFC fighters Diego Sanchez and Greg Hardy made an unsuccessful debut in fisticuffs, suffering early losses at the BKFC Knucklemania 3 tournament held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

A bout between Diego Sanchez and former WBA boxing champion Austin Trout was stopped after the TUF season 1 winner suffered a serious cut in the fourth round and the doctor decided he could not continue with that kind of injury.

As for Greg Hardy, the former NFL player and former UFC heavyweight lost by knockout to Josh Watson in the second round.

After leaving the UFC, 41-year-old Diego Sanchez fought under the league banner Eagle FC, losing by unanimous decision to Kevin Lee, and 34-year-old Greg Hardy tried his hand at traditional boxing before his debut in fisticuffs, defeating Mike Cook and Hasim Rahman Jr.
