British middleweight Liam Smith (33-3-1, 20 KOs) commented on his victory over compatriot Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs) in the main event of the last evening of boxing in Manchester (England).
Liam made it clear that he was counting on something like this, despite his underdog status.
Smith stopped Eubank in the fourth round.
“I don’t know if it was one hit or an accumulation, but I’ve been telling you all week. Both Chris and I have great chins, but history knows many cases when fighters with much stronger “beards” were knocked out. All week I have been telling all of you not to be surprised, because there are no invincibles, ”Smith philosophically summed up his resounding success.
