American MMA fighter Nate Diaz has expressed his hope that a duel will soon take place against former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier.
“I just spoke to the UFC and asked them about the fight with Dustin Poirier. I want to fight him as soon as possible, but they said that Dustin sucks and that they don’t want that. I’m sorry Dustin, but you suck. However, I hope to have a fight with you as soon as possible. Let’s arrange it. P.S. [Чарльз] Oliveira, you suck too,” Diaz wrote on his Twitter page.
On account of the 36-year-old Diaz in MMA 20 wins and 13 losses. In the last fight, which took place in June at UFC 263, Diaz lost to top welterweight Leon Edwards by unanimous decision.
The 32-year-old Poirier has 28 wins and 7 losses. In December at UFC 269, Poirier faced Charles Oliveira in a submission loss to the reigning lightweight division champion via rear naked choke.
