As we reported earlier, the fight between the undisputed lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) American Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) and Ukrainian ex-champion in three categories Vasyl Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) is tentatively scheduled for May 20 in the USA.
Most likely, this will be Haney’s last performance in the division up to 61.2 kg, and regardless of the outcome, he will rise to 63.5 kg, as he has repeatedly noted how difficult it is for him to cut to the light weight limit.
Looking at a fresh joint photo of Devin with compatriot Terence Crawford – the current world champion at 66.7 kg – it becomes clear why.
