WBC world lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) American Devin Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) claims that he has already studied the Australian George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs) enough to determine all of his strengths and weaknesses that he is going to use in their upcoming fight for the title of absolute division champion.
“There are many different ways we can beat Kambosos, but we have one plan that we think should work,” says Haney. “Though you never know until you step into the ring. Because we are ready for everything that he shows, and I can not wait to enter the ring.
“Of course, if you watch him in action enough, you can see all his habits, everything he does. And, of course, he has weaknesses, there are holes and addictions that I will show him, Devin promises. “However, I won’t tell him now what exactly I saw. What’s the point of this? I’ll save it for the fight, and when it’s over, you can ask me how I used it.”
Fight Kambosos-Haney is scheduled for June 5 in Melbourne (Australia).
