36-year-old Ukrainian middleweight (up to 72.6 kg) Sergey “The Technician” Derevyanchenko (14-4, 10 KOs), who outboxed the American spoiler Joshua Conley (17-4-1, 11 KOs) a day ago, declared about the desire for something more – for example, the next title, or just a fight with someone eminent.
Sergei thanked those who support him and noted that for him it was “a very important battle.”
“I had to win and get that taste of victory back,” explained the veteran, who hasn’t formally won since the spring of 2019. “I think I did a good job and it was a clear win.”

Now, Derevyanchenko says, he’s looking forward to a new challenge: “I’m in good shape, I still want big fights. I hope you see me in the ring again soon.”
“Thanks again, friends. Glory to Ukraine!” summed up the native of Feodosia, who lived in Nikolaev for many years and then settled in New York. Here is his interview about the hardest punch and the hardest fight.
