Deontay Wilder: I’m in the Hall of Fame!

Former world heavyweight champion American Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) is categorically sure that he has already guaranteed himself a place in the International Boxing Hall of Fame, and no matter how further his career develops, 5 years after its completion, he will be dedicated to holofamery.

“Of course, yes,” Wilder replied when asked if he thought he had already done enough to be inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. – I’m already in the Hall of Fame, ironically. I know for sure that after five years after I retire, I will automatically get into the Hall of Fame. There are no questions at all. If I don’t, I’ll be very surprised.”

Recall that Deontay held the WBC title from 2015 to 2020 until he was defeated in a rematch by Tyson Fury, and then again in the third fight.

The return of the American is scheduled for October 15 in Brooklyn (USA) – he will fight with Robert Helenius for the status of a contender for the WBC title.

Recently, Wilder suddenly admitted that he previously avoided a fight with Joshua.
