Former world heavyweight champion American Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) and Finn Robert Helenius (31-3, 19 KOs) will try to surprise each other with something new in the upcoming fight, as they are well known from numerous sparring matches. And it will also be a spectacular fight in which no one will even think of giving up.
Such thoughts on the eve of the confrontation were expressed by Wilder.

“I think the fact that he sparred with me over many, many years gives him even more confidence,” says Deontay. “We kind of know each other well, so our efforts in training camp were to do things that he hadn’t seen before. I’m sure he tried to do the same. And what I love about Robert is that he has the heart of a warrior, just like me.”
“When you have the heart of a warrior, it is very hard to surrender or capitulate. This is about me and about Robert, – continues the American. “I’m glad we’re going to fight. I am glad that on October 15 we will enter the same ring. It’s going to be an amazing fight and I definitely don’t underestimate it.”
The Wilder-Helenius fight will take place on the night of October 15-16 in Brooklyn (USA) and will determine the second contender for the WBC title, who will have to hold the final eliminator against Andy Ruiz.
