David Haye on Joyce-Parker fight: Usyk fight ahead

The conqueror of cruiserweight and heavyweight British David Haye shared his opinion about one of the most intriguing fights of the month – the fight for the vacant “interim” WBO heavyweight title between compatriot Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) and Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) ) from New Zealand. The fight will take place this Saturday in Manchester (UK).

The full-fledged WBO champion is Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), who also has WBA Super / IBF belts in his hands.

Hey
thinksthat “both Parker and Joyce have everything to give Usyk a fight. They are both ready for it. If Parker knocks out Joyce, it will be obvious that he is ready. After all, how else? This dude beat everyone he had to beat in order to get this particular place in the rankings. And the same goes for Joyce. If Parker wins, he’s ready. And in general, this is an unbeaten heavyweight, who will also have a victory over the ex-champion in his assets.

“Now imagine that Joyce will completely delay Parker,” Hay broke up. “It will mean that he is able to do something that Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte (both defeated Parker on points) could not do before. This is what I’m talking about. This is not just a vital fight for both. They need not only to win, but to show themselves in all their glory. They need this momentum, because there will be a fight with Usyk ahead.

Meanwhile, Parker recalled the opponent that “he has already been knocked out.” Earlier, Joyce honestly admitted: “I used to think that Fury would easily beat Usyk.”
