Daniel Cormier reacts to Jon Jones’ fee

Former UFC double champion, Daniel Cormier, commented on Jon Jones’ announcement that he will receive fifteen million dollars for his title fight against Stipe Mioccia.

According to Cormier, who has suffered two losses in three title fights against Stipe Miocic, the current UFC heavyweight champion, who called his opponent an “old man,” should not underestimate his opponent.

“He said Stipe is an old man,” DC said in another video posted on his Youtube channel. “It seems Jon Jones wants to make the most lucrative fight with the least risk. But I want to warn him – don’t underestimate Stipe. He’s a bloody killer, and if you watch his back, he’ll take you down. It doesn’t matter how old he is – 42, 35, 31. He’s going to come out to show everything he can do and it’s going to be one hell of a fight”

“If John gets fifteen million dollars, he should fight Stipe. It’s like a lottery winner giving up his ticket. Of course he has to fight Miocic and make fifteen million dollars. If I was Jones, I would definitely fight Stipe for that money. Because I didn’t get that much for all the fights with Stipe Miocic, even though I fought him three times”

According to Jon Jones, his fight against Stipe Miocic will be the main event of UFC 309, which takes place Nov. 9 at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York City.
