This was announced by former UFC double champion and commentator for the organization, Daniel Cormier, in a video posted on his Youtube channel.
“Honestly, I know what the main fight of the UFC 300 tournament will be, but I can’t tell you because I don’t want any trouble – I don’t want to lose my job and my money,” the American said. “The big question now is whether this fight will be better than the fights that have already been announced, or if it will just enhance the anniversary card, which is getting closer. That’s the question that most of the fans are concerned about at the moment.”
Cormier previously called the final matchup of the trilogy between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz the ideal main event for the anniversary event.
The headliners for UFC 300 will reportedly be announced as early as this Sunday during the final National Football League matchup between San Francisco and Kansas City.
