Daniel Cormier called Tyson Fury’s behavior disrespectful

By signing a contract to fight Alexander Usik, Tyson Fury showed an extreme degree of disrespect towards Francis Ngannou, according to former UFC double champion Daniel Cormier.

“That’s the most disrespectful thing Tyson Fury could have done,” Cormier said on the regular edition of his analysis program on ESPN. “It’s so disrespectful, and Tyson Fury knows it.”

“It’s kind of crazy and I hope Francis blows his head off. I watched Tyson’s show on Netflix and I loved that dude. I really like him as a person and I like his family. But this is the most disrespectful thing he could ever do.”

“He’s scheduled a fight in two months, basically saying he’s going to be fine after he’s done with Francis Ngannou. He’s going to beat Francis and then fight the second heavyweight in the world. It’s pure madness.”

The ten-round non-title boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, while an absolute world heavyweight title fight between the Briton and the Ukrainian is scheduled for December 23, but could yet be rescheduled for January.
