Dana White’s Power Slap League removed from TBS programming schedule ahead of expected launch

Dana White’s Power Slap League is no longer listed on the programming schedule for TBS ahead of the expected launch on Jan. 11.

The new UFC President was to launch next week after AEW Wrestling. An updated schedule has shown that this is no longer true. TBS has also removed Power Slap League from the network’s website.

The changes all come in the wake of a video that recently surfaced showing White striking his wife Anne during an argument on New Year’s Eve in Mexico. In the disturbing video, White was seen talking to Anne and then grabbed her arm while she was walking away. This led to White slapping her face.

White then retaliated with a slap of his own before the husband and wife were separated.

In the aftermath of the video’s release, White addressed his actions in an interview with TMZ, who is a media partner of the UFC.

“I am one of the men, as you have heard me, there is never an excuse for a guy to touch a woman. And now, here I sit on TMZ discussing it.” White stated. “My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years, we’ve known each other since we were 12 years old. “We’ve been through some bad times together. We have three children and this is an awful situation. But, right now we are more worried about our kids.

” We have three children and we’ve shared the video with them all since it was posted. Right now, we are more concerned with our family. There will be opinions and many people would agree with me. You don’t put your hands on a woman ever. My wife and I love each other, we’ve been together for a very long time. Since we were little, our relationship has been strong. This isn’t an unfortunate situation .”

Multiple messages sent by MMA Fighting requesting comment from TBS or Warner Media regarding the footage of White hitting his wife and the plans for Power Slap League following the incident have been ignored.

White’s actions and any possible punishment have been left unremarked by Endeavor, who own the UFC.

After numerous viral videos of other organisations on social media in the last two years, White planned to start Power Slap League. At a recent meeting, the Nevada State Athletic Commission approved White’s plan for Power Slap League.

After rules and regulations were put in place, White announced the deal with TBS to broadcast Power Slap League with the events being filmed at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

TBS appears to have at least delayed the launch of Power Slap League due to the dispute involving White’s wife.
