Dana White reacted to the mass brawl by Mexican fans

The head of the world’s strongest league, Dana White, commented on the mass brawl between fans that took place in the hall at the UFC Fight Night 237 tournament held in Mexico City.

According to the head of the organization, he declines responsibility for the incident, because the security in the hall was carried out not by his staff, and the host party.

“Does a fan brawl cast a shadow on the UFC? We’ve never had that happen, but it happened here in Mexico City,” the organization’s head said at a press conference after the event. “The craziest thing about that fight was that it could have gone on indefinitely. I ran there to see what was going on and no one even tried to stop it. I was waiting for security to intervene, but they just waited until it was over.”

“It was one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen, but I don’t think it puts the UFC in a bad light. It happened and it’s over. After everyone saw the end of that de***ing thing, no one had any desire to continue. Security was inactive. The fight just kept going until it was over. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life.”

The main event of the Mexican event was a fight between Brandon Moreno and Brandon Royval, in which the former UFC lightweight champion lost by split decision after five rounds.
