Dana White reacted to the defeat of Francis Ngannou

The head of the UFC, Dana White, has responded to a question about what he thinks about the crushing defeat of his former champion Francis Ngannou, who lost by knockout to former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, at Boxing Night in Saudi Arabia.

“If Tyson Fury had prepared for the fight with Francis properly, that fight would have ended the same way as the fight with Joshua,” the head of the world’s strongest league said at a press conference in Miami. “You know my attitude towards cross fights. That’s the way they end.”

The fight between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua, which took place in Riyadh, ended at the 2:38 mark of the second round with the British boxer winning by knockout. Prior to that, “The Predator” was knocked down twice, failing to react to his opponent’s lightning-fast straight right jab.

Recall that early last year the Cameroonian fighter left the UFC as a free agent, vacating the heavyweight championship belt, and in October Francis Ngannou made his professional boxing debut, losing by split decision to Tyson Fury after ten rounds, and in the third round he knocked out the British fighter.
