Dana White calls ACA promoter’s timidity cancellation ‘incredibly unprofessional, but f****** awesome’

UFC President Dana White left commentator Laura Sanko alone on camera after walking off the backstage set of Dana White’s Contender Series, frustrated by a night of lackluster fights.

So White can relate to the actions of one international promoter, even if he wouldn’t have done the same.

Reacting to ACA founder Mairbek Khasiev’s mid-fight decision to cancel his ACA 141’s co-headliner between UFC vet Rashid Magomedov and Ali Bagov, White laughed and said, “that is f****** awesome. That guy deserves a lot of credit.

” Extremely unprofessional but f ****** amazing at the same. Did it actually turn out to be boring? That gives me some ****** ideas to use for the next Tuesday .”

White vented his frustration at Sanko’s uninspiring performances, except for the headliner. Joe Pyfer was awarded a contract by the DWCS for the stoppage victory.

At the post-event press conference, White was still fired up.

“I can do what I want,” said he. Listen, me and you, along with the rest of us, almost every Saturday, sit at the ringside of some of the most exciting fights you will ever witness. We go out and we put all this time and effort into finding the most talented, unsigned guys in the world. And I don’t give a s*** what you did yesterday, two years ago, throughout the rest of your career – right here, right now, show me, show the media and show the rest of the world who you are. Are you who? You are not the only one who is going to have a good night every night. But f****** Tuesday night better be your night.”

White was known to have criticized fighters for not liking his game plans and even rewarded UFC fighters who did well in the fights. He cited DWCS’ history of producing UFC stars such as Sean O’Malley, Kevin Holland, Maycee Barber and said none of the fighters in the Season 6 opener – save for Pyfer – delivered the same energy.

White was particularly upset because he said he convinced former UFC co-owner – and current UFC stakeholder – Lorenzo Fertitta to the events, promising an exciting night of fights.

“I said, ‘I owe you one,'” White said. He won’t go out – I got him out.” “He doesn’t go out .”

White could not help but laugh at the notion of having such control over the outcome of a fight. The Nevada Athletic Commission would, however, prefer it to take place in Nevada.

“Say it with me: There have been times when I just wanted to put a chair there.” White stated. White said, “But yes, you have to either sit down and take it or stand up to go back to your room. One of these two options is what the guy from ACA should’ve done. But good for him.”
