‘DAMN! They Were Good: Donald Cerrone dissects a fascinating career before he rides off into sunset

DAMN! They Were Good is a podcast celebrating the careers of the most important and influential fighters ever. This episode features Jed Meshew as host, along with Alexander K. Lee (host) and Mike Heck (host), who discuss the career of Donald Cerrone.

Cerrone retired from MMA following his loss to Jim Miller at UFC 276 earlier this month, leaving behind one of the most remarkable UFC careers ever. Cerrone is second in UFC wins, losses, finishes and notable strikes. He also holds the record for most knockdowns in the UFC (20) and is tied for the record of most post-fight bonuses (18). And none of this includes his 10-fight stint in the WEC where he racked up five Fight of the Night awards while still under the Zuffa banner.

Although Cerrone never took home a major title in MMA, he did all the other things required of him and was loved by his fans from around the globe. We celebrate his incredible career as a ‘Cowboy” by riding off into the subset.

New episodes of the DAMN! They Were Good podcast will come out every other Thursday and are available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and wherever else you find your favorite podcasts. This week’s episode can be heard below.
