American Sergio Pettis defended his Bellator bantamweight title by defeating Japan’s Kyoji Horiguchi at Bellator 272 in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
The bout ended in the fourth round after Pettis sent Horigucha to a knockout with a roundhouse punch (backfist).
Pettis, 28, is the younger brother of former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. He has 22 wins and 5 losses in MMA (9-5 UFC, 4-0 Bellator). Horiguchi, 31, has 29 wins and 4 losses (7-1 UFC, 1-1 Bellator).
