Conor McGregor reacts to Jon Jones win

Former dual UFC champion Conor McGregor, who was in person at UFC 285 in Las Vegas, shared his impressions of the performance of Jon Jones, who triumphantly returned to the octagon after a three-year hiatus and won the vacant UFC heavyweight championship belt by cracking down on Cyril Gan.

“John put on an incredible performance yesterday! Live it looked even better!”, – wrote the Irishman in a social network. “He was supposed to be awarded two belts, having previously rubbed both to a shine. He did it. It was just brilliant, John! Congratulations!”

The title fight of the heavyweights, which led the number event of the organization, ended at around 2:04 of the first round with the victory of the American fighter by guillotine choke.

Jon Jones will make his first title defense against his compatriot Stipe Miocic, who has been named the official contender for the championship belt. The title fight is tentatively scheduled for July this year.
