On Thursday, TMZ received an email from South Florida lawyer Ariel Mitchell, representing a woman who is accusing an Irishman of sexual assault.
The alleged incident took place after the end of the game. According to the victim, the security forces separated her from her friend and forced her to go to the men’s room, where Conor McGregor and his security guard were waiting for her.
“Security didn’t let her go out and also didn’t let anyone in, including her friend,” Mitchell says.
According to the victim’s representative, McGregor “put his tongue in the victim’s mouth and kissed her aggressively, and then forced him to perform oral sex on him.” According to the victim, at one point she managed to elbow the former double UFC champion several times and escape from the closet where she had left her purse. McGregor’s security later returned her belongings to the woman.
Ariel Mitchell sent the same letters to Conor McGregor, the UFC, the owners of the Miami Heat and the NBA leadership.
McGregor’s representatives have already told TMZ that the allegations are false.
Representatives from the UFC and the Miami Heat also commented on the incident.
“The organization is aware of the recent allegations against Conor McGregor and continues to gather additional information about the incident,” the UFC said in a statement. “UFC will be monitoring the trial before making any further statements”
“We are aware of the allegations and are conducting a full investigation,” the basketball club said. “Pending the results of the investigation, we will refrain from further comments”
Conor McGregor, 34, has been repeatedly accused of sexual harassment – twice in 2019 in Ireland, in September 2020 in Corsica, and in 2021 a complaint was filed with the court about an incident that occurred in 2018. This year, the Irishman was accused of assaulting a woman on his yacht in Ibiza. In none of these cases has Conor McGregor been prosecuted.
McGregor is currently on screen every week as coach for the next season of TUF, where his team competes against the team of former Bellator title holder Michael Chandler.
